Background

Our eScreener tool is designed to assist clinical research coordinators in efficiently identifying potential candidates for clinical trials at a given site. By analyzing electronic health records (EHR), the tool generates a list of patients who match the trial’s eligibility criteria. A likelihood score is generated to indicate how well each patient meets all study requirements, helping coordinators make informed recruitment decisions with greater accuracy and speed.

Currently, the tool is actively used by our clinical team and undergoes continuous updates and feature enhancements based on their evolving needs. Below, I’ve highlighted three tasks I’ve accomplished for the tool.
